"...a safe and caring place to experience God."

We minister in partnership with Abilities in Motion (AIM), a local 501-c3, whose mission is "..to build a safe, caring community of hope through offering a variety of services..." Together, we offer solutions from a social perspective, as well as salvation and shalom from a spiritual perspective.

 Worship Opportunities

We'd like to answer a few questions you might have if you decide to be our guest this Sunday at First Baptist Church of Turner.

1. What time are your services?
We offer Sunday School for ALL ages (including adults) at 9:00 a.m., followed by Worship at 10:00 a.m.

2. How do I get there?
Our address is: 701 S. 55th St., Kansas City, KS 66106. Just look for the stone church building on the southeast corner of Klamm and 55th in the Turner area of Kansas City, KS.

3. How long are the services?
Our services last about 65 to 75 minutes and contain music and teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.

4. Is there a dress code?
No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you. You can "dress up" if you want, or wear casual clothes. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

5. Will I be singled out if I'm new?
We do have a gift for our guests, if you would like to receive one. Our goal is for you to feel welcome and experience God in a safe and caring place. Our gift for you is offered in such a way that allows you the freedom to remain anonymous if you choose.

6. What about my kids?
First Baptist Church of Turner has an exciting Children's Church ministry where your kids will be taught the Bible in age appropriate classes. All workers in our Sunday Children and Youth ministries, as well as our Thursday night Xtreme Kidz and Teenz ministries, have had national background checks and proper training. Our goal is to offer the best worship experience possible for you and your family.
